Virgin Poker are continually adding new, cool features to our poker room. Things that make the room a little more interesting or could be helpful to improve your game. Player Stats Analyze your game with the live online playing statistics. Click on the 'Statistics' tab in the bottom left of the screen when you are playing live and look for areas of improvement. Here are a couple of examples of stats to look out for under Game summary: - 'Flops seen' – Where you were still in the hand to see the first set of community cards. Bear in mind that the most successful poker players see approximately 20% of flops when there are 10 other players at the table and 50% of flops when there are 4 players at the table. - 'Won with flops seen' – A low percentage here suggests you are calling early on with less than premium hands – or perhaps that you are folding too easily after the flop. Action: An interesting set of stats for considering if you are betting at the right times. For example it is widely agreed that you should fold more than you raise, and raise more than you call. Points of fold: Are you being enticed to carry on betting for longer than you should? Clearly you want the percentages for fold on turn and fold on river to be low. 'All In' Odds When more than one player goes 'all in' the percentage probability of each player winning is displayed and updated after the flop, turn and river. If you find the majority of 'all ins' you are calling reveal less than 50%, this is probably a sign that you need to tighten up your play and call less often. This feature only applies to tournament poker. MultiTable Sit & Go Tournaments Players can now enjoy multi-table as well as single-table sit & go tournaments. Now you can spontaneously enter a multi-table tournament rather than waiting for a scheduled tournament to begin. The greater the number of participants, the larger the prizes players can compete for! These sit & go tournaments begin as soon as the designated number of participants have entered the tournament Late Registration for Multi-Table Tournaments You don't need to worry if you just miss out on the start of a scheduled multi table tournament! Late registrations will also bulk up the prize pot - however don't leave your registration too late – players will be unable to register after the first player has been eliminated! Shushing a bothersome player A user can block the chat messages of another player who is currently seated at the same table. The user simply clicks the chat bubble icon above the annoying player's avatar to effectively block the display of that player's chat messages. The annoying player's messages will remain blocked between logins until the user decides to unblock the player by re-clicking the chat bubble icon above the player's avatar. Tournament Credits = More freedom of choice. Players who win satellites have the freedom to choose their subsequent tourney. When a player wins a satellite, he is automatically registered for the same tournament on the next level. However the player can un-register for that tournament before it begins and save the entry fee (buy + rake) in the form of tournament credits. It is also possible to accumulate tournament credit in order to enter a more expensive tourney or use tournaments credits to cover a portion of the buy-in and real money from the regular poker account to cover the remainder of the fee. Hand History Whether you want to relive a glorious poker moment or learn from a mistake, the 'hand history' feature will tell you everything you need to know. Find this information by clicking the 'Live Help' tab. Player Notes To help give you a competitive edge use this feature to remind you of certain characteristics you have discovered about your opponents. Simply click on the silver icon at the top of the player discs. These will be saved for when you play the same opponent in the future. 4 Colour Deck Just to help you spot those flush draws you can choose to show all the suits in distinct colours. The option to change this is under the 'Settings' tab. Spades – Black
